WP 1 – Administration
WP1 will ensure an effective and efficient budget and time management, as well as the quality and content assurance, by implementing the most appropriate tools and means that will guarantee the monitoring of all activities, administrative management, coordination, budget implementation and communication between all the partners.
WP 2 – Web Portal & App
WP2 will develop a web portal and an app. With the web portal educators can create tasks and assign them to their students. The students then can work on those tasks using the app.
As a technical base we will use our two-fold system Asymptote.
WP 3 – Task Database
For using the app and the web portal a multitude of tasks will be designed and made available in an open database. Three different types of mathematical modelling tasks are going to be included:
- Basic modelling tasks
- Fermi tasks
- STE(A)M modelling tasks
WP 4 – Dissemination
During the project lifetime but also after the project lifetime, the consortium will offer several dissemination activities. Including a seminar for pre-service teacher about mathematical modelling.
WP 5 – Research & Validation
To ensure a high quality of outcome the results of the project will be evaluated on a theoretical base.
